Our trading model

We operate the client’s retail business on our platform.

  • Customers transact with the client’s legal entity, not with Attraction Retail Partners (ARP). 
  • Retail staff are managed by ARP. Retail staff may be employed by ARP or by the client.

Cost Structure

  • Implementation – New clients pay direct expenses only. ARP does not charge onboarding fees. 
  • Base fees – ARP’s base fee is based on the size and number of sales channels, and the number of unique stock items. These variables are a proxy for operational complexity.
  • Performance fees – ARP charges a performance fee based on turnover or gross profit. This is a further proxy for operational complexity and ensures alignment between ARP and our clients.
  • Cost – As a result of our scale advantage, our fees are typically far lower than the cost of a standalone retail head office, even one employing less sophisticated systems, processes and skills. We calculate the financial cost/benefit for prospective clients when investigating whether we are a “good fit” for one another.

  • Cost – As a result of our scale advantage, our fees are typically far lower than the cost of a standalone retail head office, even one employing less sophisticated systems, processes and skills.

Outsourcing Risk Mitigation

Relinquishing management of your retail business to an outsource partner is not a decision to be taken lightly. Rest assured that, with Attraction Retail Partners, your retail business would be in the best of hands. We mitigate this perceived risk for our clients as follows: 

Alignment between ARP and its Clients

  • ARP has limited capacity to onboard new clients. Onboarding new clients is a time-consuming,  expensive investment and we do not recoup this upfront.
  • We do not work with directly competing clients. 
  • Our fee structure incentivizes performance.
  • Our business model therefore requires us to engage only in long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

Systems and Data

  • Our systems are configured, but not customised
  • As a result, there are no barriers to clients migrating away from our platforms or services. We must therefore earn our clients’ ongoing loyalty through a value and service proposition that remains relevant over time.

Trust and Certification.

  • Our key management are members of professional bodies including AAVEA, SAICA and AXELOS, and are beholden to the professional and ethical standards of these bodies.
